Day 6:

So, what happened next? After the upper side of wing had gotten a camouflage finish, the engine cowlings were dismantled again, the engines poles were soldered with the cables and the cowlings were fixed again with the wing.

The servo cover was not executed like planned at first , but I used for it self adhesive markings(not part of the kit). It serves the same purpose and is lighter. As you can see, I have painted the upper wing in the typical blue of the German Airforce in the former times.

The upper side also have markings.

What has been left now? Painting of the canopy windows, filing the high start hook into the skid, who is 100 mm from the wingtip, as well as finding the exact defined CG. Then we are ready for the maiden flight. I'm curious about what I have to expect.

So far so good.  ;-))
